Ok this is my problem, I just get RhinoGold3 last month, I have the latest Version , this my first Problem/Bug
I have two monitors If I use my primary monitor to work with rhinogold there is no problem with RhinoGold but if I use the second monitor and minimize the windows (rhinogold) when I Restore the windows Again Rhinogold disappear , I know that Rhinogold is running because still appear on the windows task bar the only way to keep working is to close Rhinogold from the task bar and then Open rhinogold again.
This only happen if I working with the rhinogold interface, because if I work in the Rhino interface there is no problem I can minimize and restore the window with no issue

Is there any workaround to this problem ?  or any solution

Now the second problem
When I use the Gem Creator Tool if I select a curve that is open there is this warning windows that tell me that "The curve must be Close" when I click the OK button the Windows appear with the same Message If try to close the window with the X on the upper left corner  , the same thing happen the windows appear with the same Message .From here I can't do anything on rhinogold since that Windows stay on top of rhinogold I can't even close rhinogold , I have to Kill the program from the Task Manager of windows.

I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64bits
and the latest release of Rhino4

Hi Gabriel,

Sorry for the delay in my answer. It was a hard work to fix the dual monitor bug. Now it is working really nice!!

It will be fixed in Service Pack 1, but if you want to test it, please download this file and overwrite it in your RhinoGold installation folder (usually c:\Program Files\RhinoGold 3.0\).

About the Gem Creator, I can not reproduce the problem. Maybe is fixed. Please may you update an try it again? And please let me know how it works in dual monitor!

Thanks and best regards,

Hello Rafael:

Thanks for your reply and Fix, yes I try the two monitor fix and it works!! only one question when I minimize the windows from my second monitor and maximize it , the windows maximize it in the first monitor is this the way is intend it to work?

And for the second bug The gem creator, sorry about this I was using it the wrong way , I was trying to use a gem (created with the gem studio) as my base lines, I think since the gems are made with a lot of lines, when I select the gems (lines) the warning windows was appearing for each of the lines from the gem ( I think hundreds of lines) so thats why it did not got away, :P
