Permalink Reply by Theodor Voland on November 28, 2011 at 11:17pm Thanks, this fix worked for me. I placed the DLLs into RhinoGold directory instead of c:\windows, so that I don't lose them somehow.

If you have any problems registering vecom.dll file, you'll have to change "User Account Settings" to do that follow this steps:
1.- Open Control Panel --> Change view mode to "Large icons" --> Click on "User Accounts"
2.- Now click on "Change User Account Control settings".
3.- Drag the slider to bottom and click "OK".
You will have to restart the pc for the changes to take effect, after that you'll be able to register vecom.dll like Rafa explains in the first post.
I hope that helps, if you have any doubt or problem don't hesitate to contact us.
