Brazil and Render Studio in RhinoGold need more improvement, if they use V-Ray insted it gives better look to Orignal look rendering.

I used to work in flamingo at the time of Rhino version 3 when it was so basic and you have to do everything manualy adding and aditing materials metals even diamnd and other stones, since then not following the Flamingo updates, after the studios and ready metterials show up, ready envierments, makes it easy and fast rendering.

Renderin in Matrix is much beter and the meterials are much closer to reality playing sometimes with adding lights make you get snapshot of very good renders.

Rendering in RhinoGold is not that bad you have to do some editting to the meterials to come closer to real looking renders, I think if they replace with VRay rebder and Render Studio it will be beter combination.

Tariq, but if I use V-ray for rhino I should set lights and edit materials manually, don't I?

Hello,

 

You can set the light enviorment in RhinoGold adding light from Rendering tab -->  Spot light

Note that when you add the first light Rhino render light disappear, so you can keep reflection in materials and get a diffuse light as far as you want, so you should play with light to find out which is the best light set for your model.

I use v-ray and the results are far more superior than other renderer I've used. I recomend you give it a try. :)
