Hi does anyone know if its possible to adjust the smart grid to come in sooner ,so i dont have to zoom in so much to activate it ?

You can change the size between minor grids line to 1mm and it will appear all the time; in order to do it you must go to Tdm logo/Settings/Dimensions/Grid, and then change the value and click OK. Hope is what you are asking for.

do i have to disable the smart grid ?
I like using the smart grid its just that you have to zoom in so much to get 0.1 mm grid spacing that i use most of the time.
i would like to reduce the amount that you have to zoom in if possible.

My guessing is that you have to disable the smart grid, I have modified and used not enabling smart grid on Rhinogold 3.0 before the smart grid option was launched, after you change the distance in minor grids be sure to accept the changes, hope it works.
