there are no naked edges...I had no problem ..'save as stl....here's the stl file.. I use the 'rhino' interface... file, save as or 'export selected'

Did you try to use RhinoGolds STL Wizard? That has never worked form me, and there is always some problems.

So if I need to make STL file I just use Rhinos own export or save to STL. That will always work.

Thanks Pat and Mikko, This information spares me a lot of displeasure.Maybe an item to put in the service release 4 ?

This STL problem (Rhinogold) has been as long I remember, and I dont think there is anything they can do with it.

When saving as STL via Rhino, there can still be some errors, but it still possible to make the item.

The STL file must be joined all the pieces, so the file works in any machine, else the stl only works  in a drill machine
