good luck!...alot of times you don't have to worry about naked edges if your milling , however if your growing then you cannot have naked edges

yes your problem is in the tips of the pear setting they are open that happens in alot of the pointed settings!..you can always make the setting in head studio, then ungroup it,and rebuild the gallerys (hide the prongs first) ..one way to do…

Hi Jan Yeah, I have also had problems with some bugs (always in plug-ins, never in Rhino). The upgrade to Matrix is something I have thought about, but it is much more expensive. Jason

Hello again! I looked a bit at the model (should have done that first). The problem is just at the point of the setting. I would try to rebuild the setting a bit larger (0.1mm - 0.2mm) and decrease the angle of the front/bottom prong. Another idea…

Hello Jan If you have naked edges you might be in for quite a bit of trouble-shooting and rebuilding. Try checking things one at a time, you might need to explode a section and join it again, looking for trouble spots (edges that don't meet or…

boolean problems help

Hi all I really need some help on this head cluster for a basket type ring i am making - the heart shape bezel and claws were done in the head studio in rhino gold and the baguette bezels were built with the rail method. I am unable to boolean them together as there are faults with the head studio heart shape (naked edges).  I have tried to fix these by putting some beads in place but am unable to. I know, but sometimes thats enough for client. Sometimes I use rough drawing, sometimes almost photorealistic.

Usually I use command Make2D to print picturest to clients. So command Make2D and I usually select 4views. Then Print it to imagefile.   This makes good picture to sent to clients.
