The ring wil be printed in 2 pieces ( like on the photo) so that they can set the 4 arms with the diamonds and then assamble it togheter by laser.

I'm not relying on specialised software to make good stl files :p It's not a big deal to repare it when, sometimes, rhino export open meshes. And I never had any problem with any prototyped file on any prototyping machine.…"

The problem are in values of STL. I already help Mathias. =)
To prototyping is better have a program to correct the problems, because sometimes I export a close STL from rhino, than put the file in a program to repair STL…"

You file is a little heavy. But you have some options in order to pass over you memory problem.
*you can use Rhino 5 in 64 bit : if your are using a 64 bits operating system and have unused memory.
