"I'm with Pat I make my claws (Prongs) thinner in platinum, a good casting house should have no problem with them. The tree's I used to cast had only two pieces on them because the platinum will solidify quickly. We would keep the flask…"

"you don't have to make them bigger/thicker I keep them the same size ..you can even make them thinner as plat is very dense and will hold the stones very well... look at the old filligree work done in plat. it is very thin, or the old…"
